With the advent of space age technology in the sixties, Marcia Birney, better known as Marcy, worked with her husband to form one of the major coating firms in the United States.

While working with her husband to perform coating work on industrial plants, refineries, generating stations, off-shore drilling platforms, and a multitude of other projects the need to provide additional services under the same banner became apparent. Hence, the name MULTIPLE PLANT SERVICES, INC. was born when the company was formed to provide the additional trades early in 1979.

Some of the services provided by M.P.S. includes Construction (A-Engineering License and B-General Construction License), Painting, Wallcovering, Waterproofing, Building Restoration, Epoxy Injection, High Build and Specialty Coatings, Abrasive Blasting, High Pressure Hydroblasting, Steam and Chemical Cleaning, and Tailor Made Maintenance Programs for either long term or on an as needed basis under various specialty licenses.

Marcy feels that the success of M.P.S. is largely due to ethical business practices, highly qualified employees, top notch credit and association with clients whose companies follow the same practice.
